Grants & Funding
The mission of the Historical Collections Council of California Art, is to promote the early California artwork and artists. Education about the art is a primary focus, along with developing and publicizing relevant exhibitions and publications. A secondary focus is the selective conservation and restoration of important works making them available for public viewing.

HCC Grants vary in size and are considered based on whether the request meets with the aims stated in our Mission Statement.

Crocker Museum ($20,000) to support the 2026 Guy Rose exhibition in development. Funds are intended for the conservation of key paintings, development of the catalog, and bringing the exhibition to the public
